Katie Price details the trauma of being raped in a park at the age of seven and admits she “avoided” the ordeal for years, before sharing that her daughter Princess is “still undergoing therapy” after the gun hell in the Republic South Africa

Katie Price has recalled the traumatic moment she was raped in a park when she was just seven, admitting she “avoided” the ordeal for years.

The former glamor model, 45, detailed her terrible experience in a candid new interview with Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast and revealed that her first boyfriend brutally abused her and then another boyfriend cheated on her.

“Then I worked with a photographer and the police knocked on the door and he was drugging girls with milkshakes, but I never took it.

“One day he said, ‘I want you naked, in a white, wet shirt,’ and I said ‘no’ and then ‘yes,’ so my start with men wasn’t good.

“My first boyfriend beat me, the next one ripped my clothes so I had to call my mom naked from a phone booth, and then the next one cheated on me.

“So neither of them were healthy and you feel insecure and needy, it becomes toxic. If there were no men in my life, I wouldn’t be bankrupt, mentally abused, etc., it has to do with men.

“I don’t know if that’s why I model, because it’s like you can see me but you can’t touch me.”

Katie added: “Rape never bothered me until I did Piers Morgan’s Life Story and I felt embarrassed. I cried because I had never thought about it, but it obviously bothered me.

“My mother drank tea in a café and I remember the police coming and looking at my panties, and I remember that man as clear as day.”

Katie previously admitted that the harrowing experience had affected her relationships with men in a 2021 interview with The Sunday Times magazine.

Discussing her five-week stay at The Priory rehabilitation center in 2020, Katie revealed that her experiences with violence were “part” of her later life choices.

She said: “What happened to me as a child was also part of it. They say that’s why I’m weak towards men. I just pick t***s, right?

Katie talked about this experience on the Annie Mac Changes podcast.

During the conversation, she admitted that male characters “have always let me down” while discussing the terrifying moment.

Reality star Katie said: “What has always been bad in my life is men. That is, from an early age. I was raped as a child. At seven o’clock. This is in my first book. I was in the park.

Elsewhere in the new interview, Katie shared how her mom, Amy, checks in on her boyfriends and asks them if they care about her money.

Katie explained: “My mom embarrassed me so many times. He comes to my house and asks my newest boyfriend, “Do you have a job? Or are you just going to attack my daughter? She is ruthless and turns out to be always right.

The mother-of-five, who is currently dating former Love Islander Carl Woods, said: “In Carl’s case, his mum has already told him not to mess with me and he has passed the sex test so far.

“He has his own money, is not interested in fame and hates everything to do with Jordan (her model alter ego).

Katie also reflected on her tumultuous romantic history, which includes three marriages and a series of failed relationships.

Discussing the trauma she experienced as a child, Katie told Elizabeth: “When I was seven, I was raped in a park and then I was almost kidnapped.”

She said: “I’m tired of relationships. I’d like to say that me and Pete were real, but it was all on TV and in magazines.

The others weren’t real, they were just collections because I wanted a family life. I’ve never had a one-night stand.

Katie began to reflect on the terrifying moment she and her family were held at gunpoint in South Africa in 2018.

The mother of five was thrown from her vehicle by attackers while she was traveling from Johannesburg to Swaziland in a two-seater transporter with a production crew.

Laptops, iPads, passports, cash and jewelry were looted from the vehicles, but the thieves left behind a fortune in photography equipment that the crew stored on board. The attackers were never caught.

She said: “Junior, Princess, me and the camera crew. They had guns on us and the guy was inappropriately touching me with the kids in the backseat.

“The princess had to undergo therapy and now doesn’t like going out at night.”

Katie also shared that she has been diagnosed with “severe ADHD,” telling Elizabeth, “I make bad choices and bad decisions and I’m actually innocent and gullible.”

“And then there’s a part of me where I have to do something and in our minds we’ve worked out that I’m outside and I love nothing more than being inside.”

During the interview, Katie also advised young girls to avoid plastic surgery altogether, claiming it was “harmful”.

She said there was “nothing worse” than girls in their 20s getting fillers, but insisted she wasn’t a “hypocrite” because she didn’t do anything to her face until she was 40.

“There is nothing worse than these young girls, I would say in their early 20s, who all start getting fillers, lips and breasts,” she said.

“I’m not a hypocrite, but I didn’t start painting my face until I was in my 40s.”

She added: “Yes, I had breast surgery, but I didn’t even have fillers. I didn’t have Botox until I was 27/28.

Katie admitted she tried injecting her lips, but this was before the technique was perfected so she “looked like a duck”.

The queen of plastic surgery, who is said to have had more than 17 breast augmentations, has complained that young girls today “look the same” because of their preoccupation with lip and facial fillers.

She said: “All the girls look the same now and I think, ‘What will they look like when they’re my age?’

Katie, mother of Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, said her obsession with the surgery discouraged her children from taking any action.

“They are so used to it that I think I have rejected them forever,” she said.
